Much work and effort has been invested in the construction and placement of your orthodontic appliances. You are responsible for taking care of your braces/appliance by being careful with the types of foods you put in your mouth and keeping them clean. In addition, it is your responsibility to cooperate fully with the instructions we provide for your braces/appliance. Breakage of your braces/appliance, poor oral hygiene and poor cooperation results in extra appointments (usually during school hours) to perform repairs, lengthens your total treatment time and can result in cavities and/or gum problems.
